Lorenz Allram’s wines have long been the subject of great attention and admiration here. This magnificent single-vineyard wine, in particular, sparked enthusiasm on the palate following the tasting.

There is little more to be said here about the famous ‘Erste Lage’ Gaisberg; it is one of the very best in the Kamptal! The steep terraces allow the sun’s rays to be stored perfectly and released again during the cool nights. And the Grüner Veltliner particularly loves this

It was only in October that wonderfully ripe and very healthy grapes were harvested and, after pressing, left on the lees for five months. On the nose, a powerful spiciness, followed by a robust presence on the palate, masculine notes and elegant fruit framed by subtle minerality. Dry, with an extremely lingering finish and an impressive finale. A sensual delight and a top-class Grüner Veltliner. Pure harmony and endless ageing potential!
