Description
A wonderful and classic Grüner Veltliner Federspiel from the Kaiserberg vineyard. This deep-lying vineyard, with a gradient of up to 73 per cent, is situated right next to the Dürnstein ruins. Thanks to the many hours of sunshine, the stony soils and the steep terraces, these conditions are perfectly suited to this Grüner Veltliner.
This is exactly how a high-quality single-vineyard Veltliner at this level should taste: dry, refined and delicately spicy, with subtle hints of herbs and yellow fruits. The well-structured acidity immediately makes you want to take a second sip, yet it still exudes grandeur and elegance without coming across as ostentatious. The finish reveals the typical Veltliner character with subtle citrus notes that linger in the memory for a long time. Pure drinking pleasure!
