The Preisingers have been cultivating Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris) in the top Gols vineyard Goldberg since 1980. Time and again, it demonstrates the high quality of this powerful, dry wine. It is one of the most important wines on Georg’s estate, which has already received several awards, an impressive achievement in this price category. The wine is matured in large oak barrels, which give it the necessary maturity. The grapes are reddish grey, and the must is pink. The yeast removes the colour, leaving a golden yellow wine. Notes of pear, meadow herbs and quince are evident. Its subtle flavour and creamy texture make it an excellent accompaniment to food.
A beautiful white wine made to accompany many dishes. This well-bodied wine goes particularly well with pumpkin, creamy pasta, veal or Indian dishes.
