For years, the Triebaumers' red wine cuvée Weite Welt has been Austria’s answer to the great wines of Bordeaux. Crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and small portions of select other varieties, only the finest grapes and barrels make the cut—and it shows in every sip.

Deep purple in color with an opulent, almost inky concentration, this wine boasts an irresistible aromatic spectrum. Freshly sharpened pencil, cool mint, blackberries, and finely dosed cinnamon blend with cassis-infused dark chocolate. Stewed sour cherries, cedarwood, ivy, and a hint of green pepper add further complexity. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied, with a compact tannin structure and intense berry fruit—so layered, it’s almost chewable.
