The Blaufränkisch from Eisenberg is becoming increasingly popular. This "Ortswein" from the reserve category comes from the Weinberg vineyard in the village of Deutsch Schützen. With 94 AlaCarte points, you can look forward to a fantastic red wine at a moderate price.
Aged for 18 months in large 500 L oak barrels, this very well-balanced wine is now reaching the ideal drinking maturity. The typical, fine herbal spice dominates the nose and palate. Juicy, dark red berries, powerful and dense. Dry but elegant with a pleasant extract sweetness and mineral finish. Very harmonious overall.
A high-quality red wine that pairs well with many foods including beef, game, lamb and hearty pasta dishes.
