Gagliole Rubiolo Chianti Classico DOCG 2024 Bio, 0,75 L

Since the 2020 vintage, this wine, along with all subsequent releases from Gagliole, has been certified organic. A major milestone for the winery and an important step towards even higher wine quality.

An exceptionally refined Chianti Classico, showcasing Sangiovese in its purest expression. Part of the wine is matured in special concrete tanks, which allow gentle micro-oxygenation and contribute additional balance and harmony.

The influence of the new winery is clear here as well. Everything is now more streamlined, efficient and gentle, combined with an outstanding vintage. What more could you ask for?

Beautiful Bordeaux red in the glass with slight shimmering reflections and medium density. The nose reveals unmistakable Sangiovese character with herbal spice, sour cherries and mineral notes. Subtle hints of vanilla come from around 50% of the wine being matured in barriques.

Ripe and fruity on the palate, with excellent juiciness and complexity. Still slightly youthful, yet already very approachable. Vibrant acidity and fine, ripe tannins provide structure, while herbal notes complement the typical red berry flavours. The finish is long, elegant and complex.
