Bodega Malma

Argentina / Patagonia / San Patricio del Chañar

Bodega Malma is an exceptional winery in the heart of Patagonia, located in San Patricio del Chañar in the Neuquén province – a region that was once little known on the wine map but has since gained recognition for its outstanding quality. The name “Malma” comes from Mapudungún, the language of the Mapuche people, and means “pride.”
Founded in 2004, the bodega has been passionately developed since 2009 by the Viola family (pioneers in San Patricio del Chañar) together with the Eurnekian family. They are supported by renowned oenologists such as Sergio Pomar and Roberto de la Mota.
While Malbec remains the flagship, Bodega Malma also cultivates Pinot Noir – the estate’s hidden star – along with Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. The wines are marked by character, elegance, and a distinctly cool style – far from the mainstream.
We couldn’t be more impressed.
