Description
Whilst the region is best known for its great red wines, white Châteauneuf du Pape is among France’s most exciting hidden gems.
This white wine offers aromas of ripe peach, apricot, pear and white flowers, complemented by subtle herbal notes and a refined spiciness. On the palate, it is concentrated and powerful, while retaining its freshness. This balance is what makes it so compelling.
The cuvée is made from 50% Roussanne, 20% Grenache Blanc, 20% Clairette and 10% Bourboulenc. Roussanne in particular contributes juicy yellow fruit and an elegant texture, while Clairette and Bourboulenc add freshness and lift.
This wine pairs particularly well with fine fish, scallops, poultry dishes or creamy risottos. An exceptional Rhône white wine with a lasting impression.
