The grapes are grown on the stony soils of the Wairau Valley and the clay-rich soils of the Southern Valleys. After fermentation, the wine matures for eleven months in French oak barrels and large wooden vats. Malolactic fermentation, during which the sharper malic acid is converted into milder lactic acid, complements the ageing process.

For us, this Chardonnay belongs at the dinner table: try it with grilled fish, pasta with a creamy sauce or a Caprese salad. Serve it at around 10 to 12 °C and give it a little time in the glass.
