Cloudy Bay needs little introduction; it stands as the most renowned Sauvignon Blanc globally.
The 2023 vintage in Marlborough proved exceptional, evident in the current Cloudy Bay blend. Crafted from 91 distinct parcels, each vinified individually, with 4% aged in used oak barrels and the remainder in steel tanks.
This vintage exhibits a touch of coolness, enhancing its elegance. It offers clear notes of redcurrant, gooseberry, typical lychee, and hints of yellow pepper. The aroma is expressive, ripe, and dense. On the palate, it's radiant, elegant, bone-dry, with great acidity and impressive palate presence. A Sauvignon Blanc of uncompromising quality, still setting the benchmark in its category.
Ideal with Asian dishes rich in vegetables and a perfect match for asparagus season. While some suggest it can cellar for 10 to 20 years, few resist enjoying Cloudy Bay before then.
