Description
A silky, elegant organic Pinot Noir from the renowned Goldberg vineyard in Gols, produced by the outstanding winery Georg Preisinger. If you enjoy deep, Burgundian-style red wines with freshness and finesse rather than overripeness, this is an excellent choice.
This grape variety is considered the diva of red wines. It demands skill, precision and intuition. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand, carefully selected, and matured in used oak barrels. The result is a classic Burgundy-style wine with moderate alcohol, great character, and excellent ageing potential.
Typical medium ruby colour with a lighter rim. Aromas of wild berries, strawberries and subtle spice highlight its Burgundian character. Elegant, juicy and silky tannins linger beautifully on the palate, leaving a refined and satisfying finish. It tastes fuller than its actual body suggests.
Pairs beautifully with game, lamb, duck or mature cheese. Also ideal as a quiet companion at the end of a demanding day.
