Description
A Roter Veltliner from the Carnuntum wine-growing region. This white wine variety is rare, but it does exist. We are particularly fond of this elegant, full-bodied example from the Böheim estate, which is a true insider’s choice. The 2023 vintage was awarded Gold at the Lower Austrian regional wine evaluation.
Dry and classically matured in steel tanks, it reveals aromas of pale flowers and yellow fruit. The palate is powerful with well-balanced acidity, notes of quince and yellow pear, and a spicy finish with delicate herbal hints. Juicy, with a long finish, and lighter in character than expected.
Only a small quantity is available, so this speciality may soon be gone.
