Sparkling wines are gaining popularity, even in the Weinviertel, where Grüner Veltliner is king. More and more single-varietal sparkling wines are being crafted in the region.

This Brut sparkling wine from a top winery is made from 100% Grüner Veltliner grapes. To preserve the necessary freshness, the grapes are harvested early, fermented in stainless steel, and undergo a second fermentation in a pressurised tank. This process creates the fine, delicate bubbles that give the wine its elegance and playful character.

On the nose and palate, you'll find fruity notes of red apple, exotic fruit, and yellow pepper. A light sweetness of around 15g balances beautifully with the effervescence, making the sparkling wine exceptionally easy and enjoyable to drink.
