This new wine from Silvia Heinrich in Deutschkreutz embodies the leading variety of Mittelburgenland, Blaufränkisch. It thrives on deep loamy soils and clearly expresses the distinctive character of this grape.
Hand-picked and matured in large wooden barrels, it is enjoyable even in its youth without being overpowering. This medium-bodied red displays notes of dark berries, a touch of cherry and subtle herbal spice. Dry yet juicy, with a firm finish.
