Description
This is exactly how a classic Sauvignon Blanc from the Styrian volcanic region should taste. You can sense the craftsmanship of top winemaker Josef Scharl in every sip.
A dry white wine that stands out with plenty of fruit and a juicy, refreshing character. It shows a bright green gold colour in the glass. On the nose and palate, exotic fruits such as mango, papaya, and yellow pear take the lead. It is taut, with crisp acidity and a lively, invigorating feel. Subtle spice and a hint of redcurrant carry through to a pleasant finish.
It is excellent on its own and also pairs well with Asian dishes or savoury pasta.
