Champagne Marion-Bosser Millésime 2015 Brut 1er CRU, 0,75 L

We have been friends with Marion-Bosser for many years, and actually the story of 9wines began with the import of this Champagne.

Putting friendships aside, it is primarily because of the outstanding quality that we have remained loyal to this small Champagne house and want to accompany Elodie Hulin and her mother on their journey towards perfection.

This is a prestige Champagne that can stand up to any big name. It's extremely complex on the nose, and very strongly characterised by orange tones and a prominent minerality. Chardonnay absorbs the lime from the soil particularly well and then lets it have a strong and positive aroma.

It's really powerful on the palate, but has a very silky fine perlage. Creamy, multi-layered, beguiling - a Champagne that will put a smile on everyone's face. 10-15 years of maturity on the bottle are no problem at all, making it even more complex and tending a bit in the honey direction.

Yes, we are a little influenced by our friendship, but if the Champagne wasn't of such outstanding quality, we wouldn't buy it.
