The Riserva from Podere Paradisino is one of our latest discoveries, exemplifying Vino Nobile at its finest. Deep and dark in the glass, with a delicate brightening at the rim, it reveals the quintessentially beautiful and dark Sangiovese fruit from the very first sniff. Aromas of wild berries, cedar, vanilla, and balsamic notes emerge enticingly.

On the palate, the wild berry flavours are complemented by vanilla, firm tannins, and lively, fresh acidity. It is powerful, with a youthful touch and a long finish. The wine gains enormously with air, becoming more herbaceous and complex over time.

This Sangiovese offers a breathtaking flavour, somewhat more powerful than most Chiantis, akin to a Brunello but without the fierce roughness typical of Montalcino wines.
