Tenuta Villa Nova Ribolla Gialla Brut Spumante

Ribolla Gialla is not so easy to find at certain times of the year. It is currently the hottest white grape variety in Italy, with the potential to become a superstar.

As a sparkling wine, Ribolla is particularly fun, a great Prosecco alternative with a different flavour spectrum and a little more depth. It's a pleasure to discover new sparkling wines that provide a bit of variety and are also super attractively priced.

Aromas of pears, citrus and a hint of tree resin in the glass - as is typical for a Ribolla Gialla. Juicy, fresh, with a nice, present acidity and balanced sweetness on the palate. Beautiful fine bubbles. A very juicy sparkling wine, a great aperitif or accompaniment to regional Friulian cuisine featuring fish and polenta. Definitely worth trying out.
