The elegant yet powerful red wine cuvée Gotinsprun, named after the historic name of the wine village Göttlesbrunn, was matured for 18 months in 70% new French barriques. Now the flagship of the Glatzer estate, it presents itself as a high-quality wine ready to enjoy. Composed of at least 50% Blaufränkisch, around 30% Merlot, and, depending on the vintage, a touch of Zweigelt and Syrah, this cuvée can also be cellared for at least another decade.

On the nose, it reveals fine aromas of cherry and spice, complemented by hints of vanilla and nougat. The palate is broad, juicy, and reminiscent of blackberry compote, with well-integrated, elegant tannins that showcase both strength and ageing potential. The finish is warm, long, and irresistibly inviting—a wine that immediately calls for a second sip. Overall, it is beautifully balanced, harmonious, and a true Göttlesbrunn gem offering remarkable value.
