Celler Carles Andreu Cava L'Era del Celdoni, 0,75 l

The 2017 L’Era del Celdoni Cava from Celler Carles Andreu comes from a single, organically farmed plot in the Conca de Barberà. The Parellada vines, which are over 50 years old and trained as bush vines, grow at an altitude of 410 metres above sea level. As a Paratge Qualificat Brut Nature, the cava matures on the lees for at least 72 months.

The cuvée is made from 100% Parellada. The grapes are harvested by hand, gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. No malolactic fermentation takes place; with a dosage of 0 g/l, the Cava is bottled as Brut Nature.

In the glass, it appears pale lemon-green with a very fine perlage. Aromas of green apple and brioche are complemented by delicate mineral notes.

On the palate, it is dry and fresh, with lively acidity and medium body. Lime and pear accompany the long, delicately lingering finish.

A special Cava for festive aperitifs and as an accompaniment to fish, seafood, white meat or mild cheeses.
