Description
With this single-vineyard Chardonnay from the renowned Bandkräftn vineyard in Rust on Lake Neusiedl, the famous Ernst Triebaumer winery demonstrates that it is also capable of producing truly exceptional white wines of the highest calibre.
The grapes are fermented in open wooden casks and then aged for 18 months in used wooden casks. They are racked several times before being bottled unfiltered. This characterful white wine is now developing to its full splendour. Aromas of ripe yellow pears and apples unfold, along with a hint of fresh grapefruit and caramelised honey. Earthy, authentic and with a delicate salty note, it draws out into a delicate finish. Chardonnay from Rust can taste this wonderful.
