Château Lascombes is one of the most renowned wine estates in Margaux, and the 2019 vintage impressively shows why this appellation is so celebrated. The 2019 combines the typical, almost floating elegance of Margaux with a modern density and remarkable depth.

Dark berries, cassis, ripe black cherry and a touch of blackberry rise immediately from the glass. Fine spicy notes also appear, along with violets, subtle roasted aromas and a hint of cedar wood. The first sip reveals the signature of the estate: silky, ripe tannins that blend beautifully with the dark fruit. The wine is powerful yet consistently elegant and never overwhelming.

A lovely tension between structure and finesse unfolds on the palate. The flavour is clear, concentrated and harmonious, with a long finish that recalls dark fruit and fine spice.
