Furmint is a white grape variety that was widespread throughout the Austro-Hungarian empire 100 years ago. Today, this elegant rarity can be found in Austria almost exclusively in Rust. Large areas are still cultivated in the Tokaji region of Hungary and also in Slovenia. The Triebaumer family has been growing this variety for many decades and Günter Triebaumer has created a highly interesting white wine with the grape - one that aces every wine tasting and something that comes up in wine discussions with friends.

Notes of yellow fruit: Williams pear, juicy hints of pineapple, quince chilli. Close your eyes and you'll see a yellow-white, flower-filled meadow with a fruit-laden mirabelle tree.

Spring meets autumn here - dry, lively, complex acidity, hearty and balanced. A beautiful hint of sea buckthorn, compact, delicately melting with a persistent lime note. A wine that is elegant and highly interesting. Pairs well with hearty food and snacks.
