Rotweingut Iby presents with a model Blaufränkisch. This is much more than an entry-level wine; 91 points and victory at the Falstaff Grand Prix with the 2017 vintage speak for themselves. And it's organic!
Classically dry matured in large wooden barrels. Great sour cherry flavour, with blackberries and fine spice, very typical for Blaufränkisch. Slightly smoky with great, restrained acidity and a harmonious finish. Everything is perfect.
This is a wine that works in any situation: As a universal accompaniment to food or for drinking on its own. However, you chose to drink it, it's really excellent for the money.
