Description
This is one of the great red wines of Central Burgenland, with a cult following, created by the captivating Silvia Heinrich. It is no coincidence that this wine is a flagship of the winery and is also popular in China.
A special wine deserves a special name. The distinguished namesake and patron of terra o. is the former Federal President Dr Heinz Fischer. The name of the wine is derived from the Latin "terra oppidorum" and means "Burgenland".
This balanced, full-bodied red wine cuvée is an elegant blend of regional and international grape varieties. Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah are combined in perfect harmony. After 24 months in French barrique barrels, it now reveals its best qualities with aromas of dark berry fruit, blackberries and a subtle hint of tobacco. Juicy and full-bodied on the palate, it offers a long, silky finish with well-integrated tannins and a harmonious, modern oak note. A "grenade", as we like to describe such wines.
The "terra o" is already ready to drink and will continue to develop over the coming years, bringing a smile to your face. But who can resist this exceptional wine any longer?
