Rotgipfler is a white wine grape variety and a cross between Traminer and Roter Veltliner. Only around 120 hectares are planted with this indigenous variety, which is found almost exclusively in the Thermenregion, south of Vienna.

This typical organic wine was matured in the traditional way in stainless steel tanks to achieve optimal fruitiness. Clear, brilliant yellow-gold in colour. Dry on the palate with lovely fruity notes. An enticing aroma of exotic fruits. Hints of melon, peach and a touch of almond. Vibrant and lively, with rather subtle acidity and a creamy texture. Firm and gripping, with a lovely flow on the palate.

A hit at blind tastings or for when you fancy trying something ‘out of the ordinary’ again. Pairs well with various starters, light seafood dishes or Asian cuisine.
