Description
A white wine of international calibre from Mittelburgenland. With the Chardonnay Reserve, the Kerschbaum winery demonstrates its expertise in crafting high-quality white wines.
Matured for around 12 months in new barrique barrels, this is a powerful and full-bodied white wine with good ageing potential. The nose is expressive, with yellow fruits such as pineapple and yellow pear, complemented by notes of vanilla and blossom honey. Dry on the palate, with a firm grip, youthful yet already very approachable. Nougat and delicate lime notes come to the fore. Well-integrated roasted flavours from the wood lead into a slightly salty finish. It lingers for a long time.
It stands confidently alongside modern white wines and pairs well with white meat or rich sauces.
