Leo Hillinger Pinot Blanc Leithaberg DAC 2020 organic

Star winemaker Leo Hillinger also makes excellent white wines on the Leithaberg. And they're organic! This Pinot Blanc pleases from the first sip and wonderfully reflects this region.

On the nose, it plays with varied aromas. Starts with a slightly exotic touch of sugar melon and banana, then cardamom, hazelnuts and light brioches are clearly noticeable. However, the nose is dominated by the flint aromas typical of the Leithaberg. The fine exoticism of banana and sugar melon continues on the palate. Then feel the wine's conviction and elegance. At first, it's medium-strength, then gets stronger, with a balance of fresh acidity and clear, origin-determined limestone minerality. That minerality proves to be very steadfast and characterises the finish over the entire length.

Pairs wonderfully with pasta and fish. Also great on its own.
