Partù is a small masterpiece and impressively shows how seriously and precisely Pinot Nero can be vinified in Italy. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected before being processed in a reductive atmosphere to preserve the cool, clear flavour of the variety. After gentle pressing, temperature-controlled fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, with regular movement of the must to extract the best possible colour, aroma and structure.

The wine then matures for twelve months in French oak barrels, followed by six months of rest in the bottle. This careful approach creates a Pinot Noir that is both refined and decidedly serious, a wine with depth, good structure and a very fine use of wood.

The colour in the glass is an elegant ruby red with delicate garnet reflections. The bouquet is complex and multi-layered, showing red berries, cherries, fine spicy notes, earthy hints and dried herbs. On the palate, the wine is soft and supple, yet clear and firm in structure. The acidity is balanced, the tannins precisely integrated, and the long finish reveals ripe berries and subtle spice.
