The 2022 vintage has proven well worth the wait. Cyril Mares consistently delivers exceptionally high-quality wines at remarkably fair prices. This cuvée of Roussanne and Viognier from the southern Côtes du Rhone stands tall, competing on par with white Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

In the glass, it boasts a deep straw yellow colour with pronounced viscosity, signalling its density and richness.

The nose offers delicate woody notes intertwined with abundant floral hints, pear, peach, and a hint of orange zest. Exotic nuances and minerality, influenced by the distinctive round stones that dot the vineyards, complete the aromatic profile. On the palate, it unfolds with creamy textures, lively acidity, exotic fruits, hints of vanilla and toast, and a lingering finish with a subtle nutty undertone.
