Description
Only the best and ripest grapes from southern Styria are used for the ILLYR series, such as this award-winning Sauvignon Blanc . A flagship of the grape variety, from steep vineyards and matured in large wooden barrels - that's a lot of white wine for the money!
Very clear, shiny golden yellow in the glass. Seductive on the nose and palate, dry, with an animating touch. Expressive, refined, fruity and yet fresh. Paprika, cassis, gooseberries, herbal spice. Very precise, the subtle minerality and vibrant acidity structure lead to an elegant, almost endless finish.
Now reaching perfect drinking maturity and can certainly be stored until 2032! Ideal enjoyed solo with good friends or also a good symbiosis with fish, vegetables or light pasta.
