Southern Styria is one of Austria's best-known white wine regions - characterised by cool nights, steep vineyards and mineral soils. Wines with strong character, origin and finesse are produced here. Sauvignon Blanc leads the way, but Weißburgunder, Grauburgunder, Morillon (Chardonnay), Muscat and Welschriesling also bring fresh, elegant and often storable wines with high standards to the glass.
