The "Steiner Paffenberg" vineyard is a renowned terraced vineyard that borders the Wachau region, though it technically belongs to the Kremstal wine-growing area. As a result, it cannot use the Vinea Wachau Smaragd designation.
However, this in no way diminishes the quality of this exceptional, top-tier Riesling. It enhances its charm.
