Description
The vineyards around the village of Stainz are the home of the Schilcher. Here, 100 % Blauer Wildbacher grapes from 35 year old vines are classically processed in steel tanks to produce this West Styrian rosé. In the Schilcher stronghold of Stainz, the variety develops a radiant freshness with an enchanting fruit potpourri of pink grapefruit, pomegranate and wild raspberries. The barren gneiss and slate soils add a vibrant minerality. Defined by freshness and elegance. Dry and very precise, with light citrus notes on the finish.
It pairs wonderfully with a Brettljause and is also an insider tip for a BBQ.
