Château de Quincay
France / Loire / Touraine
This family business has been run by the Cadart family for five generations, cultivating around 30 hectares of vineyards with sustainable certification.
The vineyards are located on the southern hills of the Cher, a river in the Loire region. The soils are rocky, interspersed with a lot of flint. This material was dismantled at the time of Napoleon and used for rifles and pistols. Now you can taste it in the wines, this typical, almost unmistakable minerality is a special feature of the region.
