The Merlot Reserve from Johann and Steffi Böheim is a bold red wine of international calibre, awarded an impressive 93 points by Falstaff.

Aged for 24 months in barriques—some new, some seasoned—the wine has reached ideal drinking maturity, showcasing the quintessential character of this renowned grape variety.

The nose is filled with aromas of fully ripe dark berries, layered with herbal spice and a touch of roasted notes. On the palate, it’s dry, dense, and complex, with flavours of dark fruits and delicate dark chocolate. Firm tannins add structure, while a balanced freshness keeps it lively. Subtle wood integration brings a hint of fruity sweetness, leading to a warm, powerful finish. It also offers excellent ageing potential, with at least 10 years of cellaring.

Perfect for pairing with steak and other hearty dishes, this Merlot Reserve also makes a captivating solo pour!
