With the Pinot Blanc Carnuntum DAC 2022, you truly get a lot of wine for your money. Extra dry, matured primarily in steel tanks with 20% in wooden barrels, it gains both depth and creaminess—and is now beginning to reveal its drinking maturity. In the glass, it shines a clear, bright straw yellow. The first impression on the nose recalls freshly dried hay flowers and delicate spice, like a stroll through a summer meadow.

On the palate, it is soft and creamy yet refreshingly lively. Flavours of lime and pink grapefruit bring vibrancy, while a subtle almond nuance in the background rounds out the wine with elegance. The acidity is finely integrated, vivid but never sharp, lending the wine clarity and balance.

All in all, a classy and versatile white wine—equally at home with mushroom dishes, poultry in light sauces, or pasta with fresh vegetables, and just as enjoyable on its own, well chilled on the terrace.
