For over 40 years, the Loacker family have been organic pioneers, or Bioneers as they now call themselves. What was ridiculed by many in the 70s and 80s and dismissed as a fad is now a real success story. Many local wineries are now following the Loackers' example and cultivating their vineyards organically or even biodynamically, partly because the quality of Loacker wines is so high. Organic cultivation produces great wines!
