The Loacker family is undisputedly one of Italy's organic pioneers. Over 40 years ago, Rainer Loacker founded his winery in South Tyrol to produce wines according to strict biodynamic principles. Today, Schwarhof is without a doubt one of the best wineries in South Tyrol and boasts great prices and top ratings. In addition, the Loacker family has built up a small wine empire, with vineyards in Montalcino and the Maremma, operating two of the best wineries there.
