Description
The Avesso 2024 from Quinta de Santa Teresa is an elegant, single-varietal organic white wine made from the indigenous Portuguese grape Avesso, which is especially widespread in the Baião area of the Vinho Verde region. This dry white wine reflects the granite soils and the cool microclimate of the region.
Hand-harvested, aged for an extended period on fine lees in stainless steel tanks, and bottled unfiltered. The result is a clear, elegant, and long-lasting white wine that offers immediate enjoyment.
Light lemon yellow in the glass with fresh greenish reflections, clear. Precise aromas of citrus and stone fruit with subtle tropical nuances, accompanied by delicate floral notes. Fresh and well-structured on the palate, with lively acidity, fine salty minerality, and a slightly creamy texture from extended ageing on fine lees. Full-bodied and juicy with a balanced mouthfeel, each sip leads into an inspiring finish.
Pairs beautifully with grilled fish and seafood, goat cheese, or is simply enjoyed on its own with friends.
