Stevan Karic Winery
Serbia / Sabac / Varna
Stevan Karić's winery is a small wine factory in central Serbia on a steep hill on Mount Cer. Sustainability and manual labour are at the forefront with the aim of promoting regional grape varieties.
The small yet excellent winery belongs to the new generation of wineries in Serbia. Stevan Karić is the owner and winemaker. He sees the Balkans as a "new, old world" that is still little known but has great value to offer.
He has a degree in viticulture and a lot of experience in the wine industry in Serbia and the region.
He is unique for blending different local grape varieties. His brand produces two wines called ADRIA based on this concept.
