Only fully ripe grapes are harvested by hand in "Hawke's Bay" and matured in 100% new French Taransaud barrels. This is what makes the wine so complex, concentrated and powerful!
Notes of white stone fruit, lemon zest, vanilla and savoury biscuit on the nose and palate. On the palate it is brilliantly concentrated with a refined texture supported by bright acidity. Creamy, demanding on the finish. Long-lasting and engaging. Very harmonious and well-proportioned. It has great ageing potential.
