Description

The Weinviertel DAC Reserve from the ‘Hund’ vineyard is undoubtedly the epitome of a high-quality Grüner Veltliner.

Only the finest grapes are pre-selected in the vineyard, gently pressed and then aged 50 per cent in large wooden barrels and 50 per cent in steel tanks. The 2025 vintage, in particular, is one to watch. Three GOLD awards and 93+ AlaCarte points are testament to the quality of this fine wine.

Full-bodied and mineral, yet elegant with good length on the palate. Fruity notes such as orange and pineapple meet distinct spiciness. A rich body, dry yet with a delicate fruity finish. Lingers nicely and invites you to pour another glass.

A very versatile accompaniment to food. It pairs well with Viennese cuisine, home-style cooking and Asian dishes, amongst others. A white wine that’s usually a safe bet and is sure to win over many friends.
