Description

This high-quality local wine originates from the neighbouring vineyards of the esteemed Krispel winery in Straden, offering exceptional value for its price.

After maturing for a full 12 months in large French oak barrels, the wine retains its youthful vigour while showcasing abundant power and charm, a characteristic that perfectly complements Pinot Blanc.

In the glass, it gleams with a golden yellow hue, exuding an intense bouquet of ripe pineapple, pear, and a hint of smoky noble wood. On the palate, it impresses with its powerful, creamy texture and full-bodied presence that envelops the senses and lingers long after each sip. Flavours of fruit, subtle minerality, and nuanced wood notes harmonize seamlessly with well-integrated acidity. As it aerates in the glass, it evolves beautifully, inviting another indulgent taste. With a promising ageing potential of 8 to 10 years, this wine promises continued development.

Pairing exquisitely with autumnal dishes such as pumpkin, risotto, game birds, and truffles, it also stands proudly as a comforting companion when savoured alone during cooler weather, offering warmth and satisfaction to the soul.
