The Steinriegel vineyard is a very stony, mineral site in Deutschkreutz which lends a very distinctive character to the grapes. Organically produced and matured for 15 months in barrique barrels, this Chardonnay presents as bold and charming. A fascinating white wine with intriguing contrasts.

Grapefruit, white tropical fruit and a delicate smoky note on the nose. Juicy and elegant on the palate. Still young and complex. Exotic fruit paired with a delicate woody note and minerality. A touch of fine honey on the long, harmonious finish.

A full-bodied wine that pairs well with poultry, Asian dishes and shellfish. Can be safely stored until 2035 or even longer.
