With Opera, you get excellent red wine from a top winery at a very attractive price. The name Opera, meaning "the work", reflects the craftsmanship of the winemaker.

The cuvée is made from 60% Blaufränkisch and 40% Merlot. It was fermented for an extended period on the skins and then matured for 18 months in 500-litre oak barrels. The result combines the strength and elegance of both grape varieties.

On the nose and palate, it is dry with notes of dark forest berries, chocolate, fine wood, and tobacco. Harmonious, juicy fruit flavours are supported by well-integrated tannins and lively acidity. It is powerful, yet fresh and easy to drink. The warm, lingering finish is defined by dark fruit and subtle roasted aromas from the oak.

It has good ageing potential and pairs very well with pizza, lamb, or hearty meat dishes. It is also a charming choice for a relaxed evening with friends.
