92–93 points and GOLD for a regional Styrian wine—now that’s something special!
Once part of the Styrian Classic line, this Weißburgunder (Pinot Blanc) has carried the Südsteiermark DAC designation since 2019. The noble grape variety beautifully expresses the character of this stunning wine region. Sourced from various vineyard sites with weathered soils, the grapes were gently vinified and matured for six months on fine lees in stainless steel.
The result? A crisp, fresh wine with an inviting “easy drinking” style. On the nose, delicate pome fruit and subtle yeast notes meet the typical almond nuance. On the palate, it’s firm and juicy with clear minerality, lively acidity, and a savoury, dense texture. A harmonious wine that’s both approachable now and capable of ageing gracefully.
Perfect with traditional Styrian Backhendl (fried chicken) or a hearty regional snack.
