Description
Silk & Spice is a Portuguese semi-dry red wine full of charm and well-suited for everyday enjoyment. The 2023 vintage was once again named Best Buy by Wine Enthusiast Magazine and received 90 points.
The indigenous red grapes come from the Dão, Bairrada and Lisboa regions and are aged for six months in American oak barrels. This red wine cuvée is made from Touriga Nacional 40%, Alicante Bouschet 30% and Baga 30%. The blend gives the wine its appealing fruit character and very soft tannins. On the palate, it is smooth and well-ripened, showing plenty of black fruit and a gentle sweetness that leads to a long, velvety finish.
It pairs beautifully with grilled meats and burgers and is also enjoyable on its own at any party.
