Description
A captivating, powerful Chardonnay with 94 A la Carte and 93 Falstaff points - pure enthusiasm!
Characterised by stony, barren slate soil from the Riefring Thal vineyard, this wine was allowed to mature for 12 months in large and small wooden barrels. After another six months of ageing in the bottle, the wine is slowly showing its full potential. An exotic scent of bananas with delicate wood tones fills the air. Gripping on the palate, full-bodied with a subtle sweetness. Mango paired with slightly creamy vanilla greet the mineral finish. A harmonious, long finish is evidence of a storable bottle.
Not wine for a children's birthday party! Made to savour at big celebrations and for special days. Also great as an accompaniment to grilled poultry and pork.
