Ernst Triebaumer Chardonnay Ried Bandkräftn 2022, 0,75 L

The renowned Ernst Triebaumer winery from Rust, near Lake Neusiedl, proves with this single-vineyard Chardonnay from the Bandkräftn site that top-tier white wines are very much part of its repertoire.

Fermented openly in wooden barrels and matured for 18 months in seasoned oak, this Chardonnay is carefully racked several times before being bottled unfiltered, allowing its character to shine through in full. On the nose and palate, it reveals ripe yellow pears and apples, a hint of fresh grapefruit, and a touch of caramelised honey. Earthy and authentic, it finishes with a subtle saline note that adds finesse to its delicate, lingering finish. Rust’s Chardonnay has never tasted this good.
